The Drug Detection Agency (TDDA) is Australia’s one-stop solutions provider for all your workplace drug policy, education, and testing needs. Our end-to-end service offers our clients a level of convenience when it comes to working together to create a safer workplace.TDDA was established in 2005 to provide professional services to companies that provide workplace drug and alcohol testing or are considering doing so in-house.

In March 2008, standard AS/NZS 4308:2008 was published after the TDDA released its official statement on onsite screening. In the years that followed, TDDA worked diligently to ensure compliance with drug testing standards and in August 2010 became New Zealand’s first accredited New Zealand International Accreditation (IANZ) ISO 15189 accreditation under AS/NZS 4308. Became a workplace drug testing company. 2008 Drug Testing Standards. As a sign of our commitment to our customers and quality, TDDA has ISO 15189 accreditation independently from IANZ at each of our 20 offices across New Zealand. This makes TDDA the only truly nationally accredited organization in all of New Zealand.

In 2011, TDDA expanded into Australia. This was because customers demanded the same high quality of service for their operations across Tasmania. TDDA has worked hard to replicate the systems and processes to ensure that they meet the expectations of our customers. We are pleased to announce that our Australian operations have achieved further accreditation from the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). AS/NZS 4308:2008 (NZ, Aus.) and AS 4760-2006 (NZ, Australia) and AS 4760-2006 (Aus.) drug testing standards.

TDDA currently has 40 offices in Australia and New Zealand, dedicated field inspection vehicles, and qualified collection and inspection staff to provide a truly international service.

Client Requirement

TDDA MVP had to be launched as a basic web version for booking an appointment for the drug test, which is scheduled by the candidate’s company. Michael Lindsay wanted to add more features after the basic MVP achieved the desired results and gained success. After the primary MVP success, the second requirement was to add more advanced features and solutions for the admins to track all the meetings and tasks. There was also a requisite for developing new features like mobile-friendly UI/UX, and a nurse portal (which is to make sure the nurse can see all the schedules tested and add to the home screen, which generates traffic from mobile devices.

  • Imperans is a custom software owned by TDDA and the system by which health data is collected, stored, and ultimately reported. Through Imperans, customers can request bookings, track booking progress, add/write notes, and review final reports after evaluations are completed.
  • Record Management As custodians of our client’s health records, TDDA fully understands the legality of health record collection and storage. TDDA’s proprietary data collection and storage platform is built from the ground up on the Microsoft Azure platform and leverages Azure’s security controls and threat protection. All data in the database is fully encrypted and only authenticated users can access the data through her Imperans interface.
  • Services Are Centrally Managed With TDDA, customers have a single point of contact to manage the rollout of all their services. This maintains excellent cooperation and ensures a consistent level of service across the country.

Challenges

The major challenge we faced while implementing Admin Portal for the Booking application. First, we implemented & tested it like a normal admin dashboard. But it lacks in some cases like when Admin needs to view the daily update and compare the workload between the nurses.

eNest handles these challenges in the way by implementing algorithms. The team created fixed algorithms that defined the specific functionalities.
